The Consultation A typical initial one hour consultation incorporates a full case history, any necessary physical non-invasive examinations, computerised iridology and simple pathology testing to help better understand the person and their complaint. The healing environment on offer is a non-judgemental one, with a willingness to listen and better understand the client and their complaint. A health treatment program is devised for the individual client and can consist of a combination of:
Physical Therapies Physical therapies such as Bowen Technique and Remedial Massage techniques may also be incorporated. The client will leave their first consultation with an expectation of how long it will take to achieve their health goals. Remedial Massage Remedial Massage treatments include a comprehensive physical assessment of sites of pain and inflammation, range of movement and case history taking. Remedial techniques include various therapeutic massage techniques, Trigger Point Therapy, passive stretching, non-manipulative therapies, thermal and cold applications and healing Essential Oils. Relaxation Massage Alison's one hour relaxation massages are also very popular for 'bliss-out' time from the stresses of everyday. Most clients would enjoy a massage either once a fortnight or once per month.
