Bowen Therapy - NST Bowen is a therapeutic technique that is both very gentle and therapeutically powerful. It aims to restore postural alignment through release of tension in key muscle groups. It helps the body's own healing resources to achieve balance and harmony, which can result in lasting relief from pain and discomfort. Benefits may be seen a few hours after the first therapeutic session. Bowen is especially useful where the patient is very sensitive to pain or touch. The technique can be performed fully clothed or appropriately draped with towels. My style uses slow rhythmic flowing strokes using quality massage oils and lotions often with aromatic essential oils. Ideal for pampering (and you don't even have to be ill). Massage oils and lotions are natural and vegetable based and I avoid using products that have been animal tested. The treatment room is equipped with a modern electric massage couch to maximise your comfort. Central heating and cooling in the clinic means that your massage can be comfortable no matter what time of year and regardless of the weather.
